Steps to Successful Recruiting

Work with us to develop targeted strategies that connect you with candidates equipped to create superior results at your company.

  1. Discuss recruitment goals and strategy with your account manager
    Partner with us on how best to support your specific short- and long-term recruiting needs.
  2. Determine method of recruitment
    Together, we’ll determine the most effective methods to source top-flight, targeted talent, connecting you with the best-qualified applicants.
  3. Participate in Brand-building Events
    Capitalize on brand-building, networking opportunities by connecting with faculty and participating in events hosted by student-led clubs.
  4. Schedule on-campus interview date(s)
    Take full advantage of recruiting seasons in a way that best suits your needs. Our fall recruiting season begins in late September, and spring recruiting begins in late January.
  5. Review résumés
    Use CAREERlink and OlinConnect to post your positions online. Both systems allow you to review candidate résumés, consider the talent pool that can meet your needs and select students to interview.
  6. Conduct interviews
    Assess and select students who best fit and meet your needs and position requirements. Contact your account manager to add students to your interview schedule. Final schedules and directions will be emailed the day the schedule closes.
  7. Review recruiting policies and extend offers
    Our student and employer guidelines are based on NACE principles for employment professionals. Extend offers to selected students and continue to inform students of the benefits of your opportunities.
  8. Plan future recruiting
    Evaluate success from offers extended and lessons learned to create a strategic and tactical plan for the following season and academic year.
