Dan Farmer

Dan’s experience includes six years in strategy at Edward Jones after undergrad at Saint Louis University. This past summer, he completed an internship at Deloitte Consulting. Dan serves as the OSCA VP of Finance.

Haley Thorn

With previous experience in the healthcare industry, Haley has been a part of multiple organizations at Olin. She was a member of Sling Health, an entrepreneurial student organization that focuses on healthcare. Her team won third place in the final showcase, allowing them to continue to develop their project further. She is part of a student consulting organization called INSITE. After Olin, she plans to stay within healthcare, applying to consulting, strategy and administrative roles.

Gaurav Gupta

Gaurav is a second year MBA student at Olin Business School. He hails from India. Prior to joining Olin, he has worked for 5 years across financial services and strategy & social impact consulting. This summer he interned at Mastercard in the M&A Business Integration team. Outside academia, he loves travelling and having discussions over topics ranging from economy to sports and serves as the Co-president of Adam Smith Society, St. Louis Chapter.

Ray Wagner

Ray graduated in 2011 from the United States Military Academy with a BS in Economics. Following graduation from West Point, he served as an Infantry Officer from 2011 to 2019. While in the Army, he deployed to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XII & XIII. His last assignment in the Army was as a Company Commander, where he led and managed a team of 150 Infantry Soldiers. Ray left the Army in 2019 to pursue his MBA and other opportunities within the private sector focusing on strategy and management.

Marshall Pollack

Marshall is a second-year MBA and MSc student. He interned with BCG as a Social Impact Ambassador and will return to BCG full-time upon graduation. Before Olin, he worked in media at Discovery Channel for 5.5 years. On campus, he works with the Boeing Center for Supply Chain Innovation. Marshall serves as the OSCA President and Olin Ambassador.

Nitish Yadav

Nitish hails from Goa, India, and his bachelor's degree is in electrical engineering. Before his MBA, Nitish spent eight years in the power and utility industry across operations, strategy, and project management. This summer, he interned at Amazon in the Pathways program and received a full-time offer. In his free time, he reads business books and journals. He's a lifelong Manchester United fan and a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Blues. He loves being outdoors, either running, hiking, rowing, or kayaking.

Alex is an MBA candidate, specializing in strategy, with 8 years of experience in corporate communications and reputation management for Fortune 500 clients. She is passionate about data-driven storytelling and has deep experience working in both the U.S. and China markets. Alex completed her summer internship in Walmart’s business analytics division and currently serves as co-president of the Olin Women in Business club.

Tyler Edwards

Tyler is a second year MBA student from Louisville, KY. He has professional experience in intellectual property law, tech startup, and engineering experience in oil/energy and aerospace. Outside of classes, Tyler is active as a community advocate and youth sports coach in St. Louis. As a Peer Coach he is looking forward to helping with resumes, cover letters, interview prep and mock interviews for all students looking to get the most out of their internship and specifically those looking to make a career change into a new industry.

Sumana is from Hyderabad, India. Prior to pursuing her MBA, she worked as a consultant for 5.5 years across finance, information security and enterprise products. Sumana is passionate about innovation and loves the challenge of working with different stakeholders. She is interested in advancing her career at the intersection of technology, business, and people to make an impact and to contribute to growth of establishments. Outside of work and school, Sumana loves outdoors and enjoys traveling, mentoring, hiking, distance running, giving back to community and listening to music.

Alex is a second-year MBA candidate with a primary focus in strategy and management and a secondary focus in supply chain. Before coming to Olin, Alex worked in education as a teacher (Teach for America – St. Louis 2014 Corps Member) and in the non-profit space as a project and program manager. During her first year of recruiting, Alex focused on Leadership Development Programs and social impact roles, and spent the summer interning with Anheuser-Busch’s Procurement and Sustainability team.

Ellen was born and raised here in Saint Louis. She double majored in Mathematics and French as an undergrad and worked in Oil & Gas Consulting and Educational Consulting before attending Olin. Her concentration is Entrepreneurship as she would like to run a company someday. She worked in Corporate Strategy during her summer internship and really enjoyed it. She is looking forward to the coming year at Olin and happy to help you.

Lori is a 2nd year MBA/MS student at Washington University’s Olin Business School. With degrees in both International Business and Visual Communications, Witherspoon started her professional career in client services until pivoting to the marketing industry. Her courses of study at Washington University are positioning Lori to take on more challenging business management roles that require strategic and data-based decision making.
